Boat Ramps - Wal's Camp.
This single lane ramp is situated a few kilometres upstream from Buxton on the Burrum River. It is accessed through Pacific Haven Estate road out of Howard. Being a ramp jutting into the cross flow of the river it is prone to silting and becomes very slippery and muddy .The track to the ramp is gravel and the turning and parking areas are also gravel. There is no water or lighting and the parking areas are probably adequate for the traffic.
