The following places are subject to  Closures or Restrictions

 

ALL NETTING is closed (banned) in Hervey Bay, from an imaginary line connecting Point Vernon, Scarness Jetty (the wet end) to the Urangan Pier and to the red beacon on the Southern rock wall of Urangan Harbour.

 

SPEAR FISHING is closed to every one at the Artificial Reef at Woody Island.

PLATYPUS BAY inside an imaginary line connecting Rooney Point and Coongal Point are CLOSED waters with regard to taking Spanish Mackerel, Barracuda, Slender Barracuda, AND from 12/2002 Queenfish, Yellowtail King, Black King and Catfish---because of the very high risk of ciguatera

AND

ALL SPECIES - From an area at Fraser island - 400 metres North of Waddy Point to 400 metres South of Indian Head and 400 metres Seaward from 1st September to 30th September.
